Who I am

Forza with Tori provides online and in-person strength and nutrition coaching. Tori is the data controller for the information described here. Based in Surrey, United Kingdom.

The easiest way to reach me about anything on this page is hello@forzawithtori.com.

The short version

  • I only collect what you choose to give me.
  • I never sell your information, and I do not run advertising trackers on this site.
  • If you tell me about injuries, births or surgeries, it is used for one thing only: programming your training safely.

What I collect, and why

When you fill in the enquiry form

The form on the Book a call page collects your name, email address, mobile number if you give one, which option you are interested in, and whatever you write in the message box.

That message box asks about injuries, births, surgeries or sports. This is health information, which UK GDPR treats as a special category needing extra care. I ask for it so that training can be programmed safely around you — postnatal core and pelvic floor work, for example, or avoiding a movement that aggravates an old injury. You decide how much to share. You are welcome to leave it blank and tell me on the call instead.

Lawful basis: for your name and contact details, my legitimate interest in responding to you and taking steps towards a coaching agreement. For any health information, your explicit consent, given by choosing to write it in.

Where it goes: straight to my email inbox at hello@forzawithtori.com, hosted by IONOS. It is not stored in this website’s database.

When you request the free nutrition guide

Your first name and email address are added to my mailing list, which is run by MailerLite. Lawful basis: your consent. Every email has an unsubscribe link and you can use it whenever you like.

When you book a call

Bookings run through Calendly, which collects your name, email address and chosen time. Calendly is based in the United States, so this involves a transfer outside the UK, made under the safeguards their agreement provides. Their own privacy notice applies alongside this one. The booking widget on the Book a call page may set its own cookies when it loads.

Just by visiting

My host, IONOS, keeps standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages visited and timestamps — which exist to keep the site secure and working. Lawful basis: legitimate interests.

The site’s fonts are served by Google Fonts, which means your IP address is shared with Google in order to deliver them.

If you become a client

Coaching is delivered through the ABC Trainerize app, where you set up your own account. Their privacy notice covers what happens inside it. Payments are handled by Trainerize and its payment provider — I never see your card details.

Cookies

This site sets no advertising or analytics cookies. WordPress only sets cookies for people who log in to manage the site, which does not include visitors. The Calendly widget on the Book a call page may set cookies of its own.

How long I keep things

  • Enquiries that do not become coaching: deleted after 12 months.
  • Client records: kept while we work together, then for 6 years afterwards, which is what insurance and tax rules require.
  • Mailing list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Server logs: according to IONOS’s own retention periods.

Who else sees your information

Only the services needed to run the business: MailerLite for the mailing list, Calendly for bookings, IONOS for hosting and email, ABC Trainerize for coaching delivery, and Google for serving fonts. Nobody else. Your information is never sold and never passed to advertising networks.

Your rights

You can ask me to give you a copy of your information, correct it, delete it, restrict what I do with it, or send it elsewhere. You can object to my using it, and where I rely on your consent you can withdraw that at any time. Email hello@forzawithtori.com and I will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how I have handled things, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Children

Coaching is for adults. I do not knowingly collect information about anyone under 18.
